IQ Testing for School Planning (4+)
I provide IQ and achievement testing for school planning, placement, and admissions. These assessments include a brief developmental questionnaire and one in-person testing session of approximately 60-90 minutes. The IQ report will be ready within 1 week of the testing session, and you may schedule an optional 20 minute feedback session to review results.
IQ-only tests for school admissions do not require a consultation. You may schedule directly on my calendar and I will send you the questionnaires with your appointment confirmation: Schedule IQ test.

ADHD and Educational Evaluations (8+)
Depending on your question(s) testing may include evaluation for ADHD, learning disorders, and/or executive functioning or cognitive processing concerns, updating childhood assessments, and identifying academic, learning, and executive functioning areas of strength and concern. All testing reports include recommendations, including for accommodations if appropriate.
Targeted ADHD-only evaluations include parent and child interviews, parent and child questionnaires, and optional teacher questionnaires; they do not require any in-person testing and may be completed virtually.
Comprehensive educational evaluations (including learning disabilities, executive functioning, and/or cognitive processing, with or without ADHD) include parent and child interviews, parent and child questionnaires, optional teacher questionnaires, review of prior assessments, and typically two in-person 2-hour testing sessions.
Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (12+)
When teens and young adults struggle with focus, motivation, academic performance, or emotion regulation, it can be difficult to know exactly what is causing those struggles. Symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disorders, and executive functioning or cognitive processing problems can all impact behavior, mood, and academic functioning.
Comprehensive evaluations help differentiate among symptoms of psychological disorders (such as depression or anxiety), cognitive processing, and neurodiversity (such as ADHD or learning disorders). There is significant co-occurrence between these sets of symptoms. Teens diagnosed with ADHD or LDs in childhood may develop anxiety, depression, or other mental health problems in adolescence, and vice versa - teens who struggle with anxiety or depression may not be aware of the impact of previously undetected ADHD or LD on their functioning. My goal is to help your pre-teen, teen or young adult deeply understand their mood and cognitive functioning, so that they may reach their full potential.
I also specialize in complex diagnostic evaluations for individuals with histories of trauma, psychosis, suicidality, and/or hospitalization.
Comprehensive evaluations include parent and child interviews, parent and child questionnaires, optional teacher questionnaires, review of prior assessments, and typically 4-6 hours of in-person testing.
All evaluations include a written report with assessment results, test summaries, diagnoses, and accommodation recommendations (if any) as well as a feedback session to review findings.
Is your child in a gifted program? I specialize in targeted and comprehensive evaluations for gifted teens and young adults.
